The German decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2013

Anke Engelke hosted the show on the TV broadcasting channel "ARD" on 14th of February 2013. The event took place in the TUI Arena of Hanover with an audience of more than 10,000 people and millions of viewers at the TV screens at home. Twelf solo artists and bands competed for the ESC ticket, among others "Söhne Mannheims" and "Cascada" who finally was the lucky winner with the song "Glorious".
